When a mirror will not open

Work down this list before you decide the market is down.

  1. Ask Tor for a new circuit and retry.
  2. Try the other mirror. They all go to the same market.
  3. Is the rest of your Tor browsing slow too? Then the network is busy. Give it a minute.
  4. Make sure Tor Browser is up to date.

If the captcha keeps looping, the problem is your circuit or cookies. Get a new identity, let the page start a fresh session, and solve it once.

If the address on the login page is not the one in your bar, close the tab and copy a fresh one from the mirror list. A mismatch is a fake, not a glitch.
